If you combine the two and get rid of a few you can generate an all new ranking system. In addition you can make up your on ranks. Here is my suggestion for the ranking system. Also for the amount of player points you gain the higher the promotion.
With this type of system it will make members want to actual play their best to try to get promoted. Also you won't have twenty people of the same rank at the same time. The persons rank could be added to the end of the name with an abbrevation. Please do comment below and tell me if you agree or disagree with the suggested system

i think it sounds awesome, but the adding an abbreviation to the end is going to maybe cause people to have to skip out on that (which most would do) or cut their username which i doubt people are going to be willing to do, especially if they can skip out on it on their name. How about ranks be added to players on their game tracker, accounts. Maybe require it? I don't know, but it sounds fantastic...
